Helmet Band-Its on the Ice at the Luc Robitaille Celebrity Shoot-Out Event

Luc Robataille Celebrity Shoot OutHelmet Band-Its was excited to make an appearance at the Luc Robitaille Celebrity Shoot-Out which was held Park City Ice Arena in Park City, Utah.  Now in its 6th year, the event’s goal is to raise money for Echoes of Hope, a charity founded by Luc Robitaille and his wife, Stacia.

Luc Robitaille - one of THE all-time great National Hockey League’s superstars, now works in management for the L.A. Kings, but continues to support this charity that helps at-risk youth.

Celebrities and athletes from all over the world come to lend their name and their ice time to this very worthy cause.

Helmet Band-Its was very excited to be a part of the festivities as shown in this photograph.  Manon Rheaume, an Olympic silver medalist, who achieved a number of historic firsts during her career, including becoming the first and only woman ever to play in a National Hockey League exhibition game is shown on the right.  On the left is Allison Baver, the Olympic Bronze medalist in short track speed skating.  Both are modeling our faux fur styles and we think they look awesome.

A big thank you to, Patrick Perrett (in the middle) who works with Comcast and who was kind to get this moment captured for us!

Helmet Band-Its – A Versatile Fashion Accessory

The second in our series of Helmet Band-Its’ How To’s again features Founder and Designer, Robin Dorman.  Helmet Band-Its come in a variety of faux fur styles and colors and can be worn three different ways.

Obviously, we think that the Helmet Band-It is the best way to dress up your ski safety helmet and make you look stylish on the slopes, but it can easily be converted to a shawl to keep your neck toasty warm or glam up a winter jacket or sweater.  Or if you prefer, it converts into a fashionable head band which will keep your head and ears warm, while still looking great.

Helmet Band-Its were developed to promote wearing safety helmets while enjoys winter sports. We always hope you #playsafe and we want you to #lookgreat.

In this video, Robin shows you how easy it is to transform into these three looks. We’d love if you shared your photos of how you wear yours.
